Here’s how Apple’s Chief Tim Cook responded to a question from analysts about how Apple would be different without Steve Jobs should he not return from his medical leave of absence in 2009: “We believe that we are on the face of the earth to make great products, and that’s not changing,” Cook declared. “We believe in the simple not the complex…We believe in saying no to thousands of products, so that we can really

Gartner has made a prediction that the “personal cloud will replace the PC as the center of our digital lives by 2014.” The article discusses the shift to the broader consumer driven devices that fuel our digital lives.  Isn’t it amazing that within a few years, Blackberry lost its “yeah but we’re the BFF of IT departments” argument and became yesterday’s news as iPhones were PUSHED into corporate America by the millions who said, “These

I thought I’d share something that is quite challenging for us at pcC.  Cell phones.  Here’s a non-technical look at why the latest and greatest smartphones can give us fits.  We’re working toward better advanced notice and the ability to play around with these phones as they’re launched but here’s the idea. A droid is not a droid is not a droid – Google Android, the operating system that drives so many phones is different
