Hi I’m Doug Mitchell. I was born and raised in CA and picked up my family in 2005 and chose Des Moines, IA over anywhere else in the USA. That move gave me my life back and freed me to succeed. Rewind…
After college I spent my early career in technology hardware sales. Next I moved into telecommunications and infrastructure. At some point in 1999, I had the opportunity to join a start-up and the rest is history. I learned more in 2.5 years than 25 in the cube when we grew and sold the company off. I’ve gone on to work in multiple startup/early stage companies where I focused on building value through relationships and honing my marketing skills. From 2007-2010 I grew and sold my own virtual multimedia agency. I wrote and published a book called The MultiThread Marketer and have spoken to over 20 groups and conferences on removing the issues that suck life and productivity from business owners.
Now I’ve assumed the leadership role here at PC Central and my job is create an amazing customer experience while doubling the number of “seats” or users we have during 2012.
