The Privaris Plus I.D. connects to the computer via usb OR can generate a random code that displays on the device. Each can only generate a code if the identified user has initiated it via thumbprint recognition. (Science still hasn’t identified 2 people with identical prints since we started keeping thumbprint records in the late 1800′s.) We maintain software and hardware on our end to ensure that the biometric device is always in sync with your secure environment – and yours alone.
But excluding any Mission Impossible style chicanery, this device will ensure that laptops are less vulnerable if they get lost or stolen and the person accessing data in your organization, (in the office or remotely) is who they say they are.
